PURPOSE:To eliminate a magnetic flux emitted onto a sleeve, and to easily separate a developer which has been carried on the sleeve, from the sleeve at a spot where a magnetic material has been placed, by making a magnetic flux emitted from a magnetic roller pass through the magnetic material which has been placed between the sleeve and the magnetic roller. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic material 4 is placed between a sleeve 2 and a magnetic roller 3. A magnetic flux emitted from a magnetic pole of the magnetic roller 3 all passes through the magnetic material 4, therefore, it does not come out to a space on the sleeve 2. Therefore, when a developer 7 is carried to the vicinity of the magnetic material 4, a magnetic force for attracting the developer 7 to the sleeve 2 comes not to work, therefore, the developer 7 drops down due to its dead weight, and the developer 7 can be separated from the sleeve 2. |
