A draw bar is positioned in the centre of the cylinder piston connecting rod, passing through a rear piece, and has an adjustment nut on its rear end. When the rod moves outwards, it takes with it the draw bar. At the end of the piston stroke, the nut strikes against a surface in the rear piece, and by adjustment of the nut, the piston stroke may be regulated so that it is shorter than the max. A further adjustment nut is fitted in the rear piece behind that located on the piston connecting rod. Thus, the first nut (B) is used to adjust the piston stroke outwards, whilst the return stroke is adjusted by the second nut (F). - An inductive position indicator is fitted in each of the two piston end positions, and two spiral springs thrust the adjustment nuts and the draw bar away from contact with the indicators when the piston moves from a stop. A tubular slide valve is fitted on the housing contg. the stops, and two electromagnetic 2-way valves are fitted in the rear piece to control the slide valve by venting.
