PURPOSE:To obtain a lightweight motor with a supers cooling performance that can be manufactured inexpensively by constituting a stator by sandwiching the core with stator frame partitioned blocks in two-piece housings from both sides. CONSTITUTION:To an annular core fastening fitting 3a to fasten a stator core 2a brought to contact with both sides of the core 2a, ribs for reinforcement 5b and 5b of the truck mounting arm 5 fixed to the truck of a carriage are extendedly provided into an integral construction. Stator frame partitioned blocks 1a and 1b divided into two-piece housings are put over until they come into contact with the outside surface of a fastening fitting 3a. The connecting portion 10 of the partitioned blocks 1a and 1b are connected to the connecting portion 9 of the fastening fitting 3a with bolts 8 to constitute the stator. Thus, the stator frame can be lightweighted that much, and that it excels in cooling performance because it has no portion to cover the outside circumferential surface of the core 2a with. Moreover, as the stator frame has no portion to engage with the core 2a, it is not necessary to machine the engagement portion. On this account, the manhours for machining can be reduced and the manufacturing cost decreased.
