PURPOSE:To provide the titled coloring material which can retain a color over a long period of time without causing fading, by mixing a water-base resin paint with a specified powder, drying the mixture and powdering it. CONSTITUTION:A water-base resin paint such as a vinyl acetate resin, an acrylic resin, etc. is blended with at least one powder having a particle size of 1-20mm selected from among travertine powder, brick powder and coral limestone powder in an amount of 10-30 times that of the resin. Water is added thereto and the mixture is mixed. The resulting mixture is air-dried and crushed.
