发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF POSITIVE ELECTRODE FOR NONAQUEOUS SOLVENT BATTERY
摘要 PURPOSE:To shorten neutralization time and increase yield in production process by mixing manganese dioxide powder obtained in acidic solution with alkaline lithium salt solution, heating and neutralizing the manganese dioxide powder to form a positive electrode. CONSTITUTION:Manganese dioxide powder obtained in acidic solution is mixed with alkaline lithium salt solution, and heated and neutralized to form a positive electrode 1. It is combined with a negative electrode 2 such as lithium and a separator 3 to form a nonaqueous solvent battery. The replacement of acidic ion adsorbed on manganese dioxide with lithium ion is conducted in solution heated at 50-70 deg.C. By expansion of manganese dioxide particle, adsorbing ion is released and easily replaced with lithium ion. Therefore, neutralization time is remarkably shortened and yield in production process is increased.
