PURPOSE:To position contactlessly a moving body and to shorten a setting time by making an electro-magnet once non-excited state to move the moving body in the backward direction by inertia and exciting the electro-magnet again at the passage of the moving body on a stop position. CONSTITUTION:If the passage of a pallet 10 is detected by a sensor 20 when the pallet 10 approaches a station and moves as a low speed, a controller 22 turns a stator 6b to non-operating state and turns the electro-magnet 16 to the excited state. The electro-magnet 16 is once turned to the non-excited state at time t1 after the passage of a prescribed time t1, and then turned to the excited state again at time t2 after the passage of a prescribed time T2. Consequently, the pallet 10 is gradually moved to displacement '0' in the backward direction by inertia after the time t1, and at the time t2 that the pallet 10 is almost set up to the displacement '0', the electro-magnet 16 is excited and the pallet 10 is positioned, so that the vibration of the pallet 10 is rapidly set up. |
