<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the variation of the load which is generated on a paper sheet because of the difference of transport speed of a transport member at two positions by installing a transport member driving means for varying the number of revolution of the transport member positioned at the back in the direction of transport of the paper sheet. CONSTITUTION:When a copying paper sheet is transported, an intermediate gear 16b is meshed with a driving gear 12 in the state where a solenoid 17 is turned-OFF. The solenoid 17 is turned-ON when a paper rear edge sensor 8 detects the rear edge of the copying paper sheet, and a connecting member 15 is shifted in the I direction to mesh the intermediate gear 16a with the driving gear 12. If the diameter of a transport roller 3 before copying is 20mm, the transfer quantity on the peripheral surface of the roller increases by 1.58mm than that in the meshing state with a small gear 14, during the time when the rear edge part of the copying paper sheet shifts in a length of 30mm between the paper sheet rear edge sensor 8 and the transport rollers 2 and 3 before copying. In other words, the transport speed increases by the portion of increase of the shift quantity on the peripheral surface.</p> |
