<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled substance, by using a device wherein a LiAlH4 carrying catalyst is sealed in a rising part of a U-tube and caps with septums are set at both the ends of the tube and sending raw material <11>C labelled CO2 from one end of the tube to the other through a hollow needle and then transporting water. CONSTITUTION:In a device equipped with six reaction tubes, wherein caps 1 with septums capable of keeping a tube airtight in sticking and removal of a hollow needle are set at both the ends of a U-shaped reaction tube 2 and a catalyst 4 supporting LiAlH4 on quartz wool is set at a rising part 3, firstly <11>CO2 diluted with a N2 gas is introduced from a hollow needle 9 stuck into the septum of the cap 1 into the reaction tube 2, brought into contact with the catalyst to form LiAl(O<11>CH3)4 and a remaining gas is taken out from a hollow needle 8. Then, a turntable 15 is rotated by 60 deg., water is fed from a hollow needle 10, the N2 gas from hollow needle 11, hydrolysis is carried out and the aimed substance is recovered from a hollow needle 12.</p> |
