PURPOSE:To permit uniform finishing in cutting works of flashes forming steps in thickness by installing a control circuit capable of preventing duplicated grinding and making repeated grinding of the predetermined section in the case of a grinder finishing device for making automatic grinding of flashes etc. CONSTITUTION:A grinder 8 is attached to the wrist part 6 of a robot and flashes 10 of a work 9 are cut through a rotary grindstone 4. In this case, the thickness to be ground is adjusted through changing the angle of the grindstone to a work 9 and a pulse generator 7 is housed in this grinder 8. And a load cell 11 is installed to detect the reaction added to the grinder 8 by the work 9. Furthermore, conductors 3a, 3b are burried in the rotary grindstone 4 from a core metal portion 1 in radial directions and the core metal portion 1 and the work 9 are kept conductive to each other during grinding. Thus, the width to be ground is detected by the control circuit and repeated grinding of the predetermined section are made while preventing duplicated grinding whereby good finishing can be accomplished. |
