PURPOSE:To prevent bubble suction phenomenon through a nozzle aperture due to the dropping of an ink jet head during its storage or impact while in transit by providing a movable ink check valve so as to block an ink reservoir. CONSTITUTION:During initial ink filling, an ink check valve 13 is away from a mural ink check valve seat 201, 202 and a partition 19, and a check valve cavity 50 is filled unit an ink circulation hole 401, 402. Then during storage of an ink jet head, a downward pressing force is applied to only the external circumference by any proper jig so that it may be pushed toward the check valve seat 201, 202. The thin sheet 41 of the check valve 13 blocks an ink bag 17 side and a nozzle 1 side. If the head is attached to a printer, only an open convex member is pressed downward by a jig fitted to the printer side, allowing a pointed part 301, 302 to pierce the thin sheet 41 of the check and make the ink bag 17 side and the nozzle 1 side continuous through the check valve cavity 50. |
