<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the loss of isolating gas during the replacement of isolating gas by providing an air fan halfway in piping which is connected at both ends to a couple of containers and also connectable to an isolated gas cylinder at its intermediate point, and shortening the time required to replace the insulating gas. CONSTITUTION:A signal is guided from a cable 16 to a gas container 11A to take a test while observing the internal state through an observation window 20. A next device (not shown in figure) to be tested is set in another gas container 11B during the testing operation; and a valve 29b is opened, and a hose 27a is detached from the air feed fan 26, which is driven reversely to discharge the air from the container 11B. The fan 26 is stopped when the container 11B is evacuated, and the hose 27a is connected to the fan 26 again to enter a stand-by state; and the valve 27a is opened and the fan 26 is driven after the container 11A is tested to send the insulating gas to the container 11a to the container 11B. Then the fan 26 is stopped and the valve 29b is closed to finish charging gaseous sulfur hexafluoride SF6.</p> |
