PURPOSE:To reduce occurrence of malfunction and to prevent damage of a magnetic head etc., beforehand by forming a pressing part for normal rotation and a pressing part for reverse rotation in a gear of a speed reducing mechanism and operating the lever part of a changeover switch by the two pressing parts. CONSTITUTION:A changeover switch 34 that outputs a motor normal rotation signal or a motor reverse rotation signal to a motor controlling circuit side by switching of a lever part 34a is provided on the base 10 near the gear 23 of a reduction gear mechanism 24, and on the other hand, a pressing part for normal rotation 23a that outputs a motor normal rotation signal by operating the lever part 34a of the changeover switch 34 to one direction and a pressing part for reverse rotation 23b that outputs a motor reverse rotation signal by operating the lever part 34a of the changeover switch 34 to opposite direction are formed in the gear 23. Thereby, a motor for normal and reverse rotation is rotated in normal or reverse direction, and accordingly, malfunction occurs less often compared with a device operated by electrical means. Therefore, a magnetic head is not deviated from the extent of scanning, and the damage of the magnetic head etc., can be prevented.
