The present invention relates to a binding for a cross-country ski. Elastic stressing means 89 employing a single member forming a spring 115 are used, on the one hand, in order to join the ski boot 5 to a linking member 31 mounted pivotably on the ski around a transverse shaft 19 and in order to stress this linking member 31 towards a position corresponding to the resting of the boot 5 on the ski 1. This results in a simplification of the binding and the possibility of an assembly which has little effect on the mechanical characteristics of the ski; in particular, assembly may be carried out directly on a longitudinal rib of the ski, exclusively by articulation about transverse axes. <IMAGE> |
