A conductor of work piece is faced with an electrode through an electric discharge clearence. A main electric power source delivers the are discharge current between the electrode and the work piece. The power source is connected with the electrode by a conductor. A high frequency electric source delivers a high frequency and high voltage electric power between the eelctrode and the work piece to break out an arc. A high frequency magnetic body is composed of multiple pearlite discs surrounding the conductor between the elctrode and the electric source. A high frequency by pass condeneser is connected with the main electric source in a parallel conection.
