PURPOSE:To simplify various production processes and obtain a solid powdery cosmetic, by using a fluorohydrocarbon as a blending solvent, blending the fluorohydrocarbon with a powdery cosmetic base while stirring, forming the resultant blend into a granular material, etc., filling the blend in a cosmetic container and volatilizing the fluorohydrocarbon after filling. CONSTITUTION:A powder cosmetic base containing much pearling agent powder, e.g. titanium-mica based agent, etc., is blended with a fluorohydrocarbon, e.g. Flon-Showa FS-11(R), etc., having <=50 deg.C boiling point while stirring by a suitable method to give a granular or liquid form. The resultant material is then filled in a cosmetic container and the fluorohydrocarbon is volatilized after filling. The powder is readily pressurized while applying a screen, e.g. cloth or paper, to the powder surface to afford the aimed solid powdery cosmetic. EFFECT:The fluorohydrocarbon has good affinity for the cosmetic base and stirring and blending are facilitated. Since equipment required for the stirring may be simple and the fluorohydrocarbon is readily volatilized, the pressurizing operation after the volatilization may be simple. |
