PURPOSE:To form a polymer rubber compsn. which allows heat generation to be controlled and has excellent breaking strength and Pain's effect, containing a specified amount of a branched butadiene polymer and a specified amount of a specified straight-chain butadiene polymer. CONSTITUTION:This butadiene polymer rubber compsn. contains at least 15wt% branched butadiene polymer (A) and at least 15wt% linear butadiene polymer (B) having at least one functional group selected from among the following (a)-(h) in its molecular chain as rubber components. (a) R<1>3M group (wherein R<1> is an alkyl, an aryl, allyl, an aralkyl, an alkenyl, an ester; M is silicon, germanium, tin), (b) (thio)carbonyl, (c) R<2>2P-group (wherein R<2> is an alkyl, an aryl, an aralkyl, an alkoxy, an ester group), (d) a group of the formula (wherein Y is oxygen, sulfur; R2 is as defined above), (e) amide group, (f) imino group, (g) triazine group and (h) (thio)carboxyl group.
