PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. excellent in fluid circulation stability free from a decrease in the amt. of plate-out, which comprises a lubricating oil component and a particular high-molecular compd. CONSTITUTION:At least one lubricating oil component (A) selected from among animal and vegetable oils, mineral oils, and fatty acid esters (e.g., spindle oil) is blended with 0.1-10wt% at least one high-molecular compd. (B) selected from among a vinylether-maleic acid copolymer having a repeating unit of formula I (wherein R is 1-18C alkyl; when one of A is an org. group of the formula II, the other A is OH, an org. group of the formula III, -OR6, OM, an org. group of the formula IV, ONH2R<6> or ONH2R<78>; n is an integer of 10-3,050; m1 is an integer of 2-10; m2 is an integer of 1-20; m3 is an integer of 1-10; R2-R3 are each H or CH3; R4-R5 are each 1-3C alkyl; R<6>-R<8> are each 1-20C alkyl; M is an alkali metal), an isobutylene-maleic acid copolymer having a repeating nit of formula V (wherein R<9> is R2; n' is an integer of 10-1,300), and an isobutylene-maleic acid copolymer or vinyl ether-maleic acid copolymer having repeating units obtd. by dimerizing the formulae I and III wherein A is OH. |
