1315156 Reciprocating compressors JENBACHER WERKE AG 14 May 1970 [14 May 1969] 23317/70 Heading F1N A compressor comprises a single diameter piston 16, 17 provided with a transverse guide bore 14, a crank-shaft 10 having an eccentric portion 12 which receives a cylindrical slider 13 running in the guide bore 14, a casing 1 defining cylinders 3, 2 for the opposite ends of the piston and also silencer chambers 4, 5 for suction and delivery gas, and a cover 6 for sealing the chambers 4, 5 and for supporting crank-shaft bearings 8, 9. Gas is admitted to the silencer chamber 4 through a check valve 21 and filter 20. From the chamber 4 the gas enters the cylinders through ports 18, 19 controlled by the piston. After compression the gas flows through valve controlled ports in a plate 22, an outlet chamber 24, the silencer chamber 5 and is delivered through a check valve 32. |
