PURPOSE:To remove fast buildup of black rust etc. nearly perfectly by spraying extra-high pressure water, cooled to a temperature range between zero and immediately before the solidification point, from a nozzle, and by providing a mixture slurry consisting of the sprayed water and fine crushed ice produced momentarily at part of the spraying. CONSTITUTION:From a pressurization means 2, extra-high pressure water is supplied to a heat-exchanger 4a of a cooling means 4 by the use of a pressure resistant hose 3, and only sensible heat of the extra-high pressure water is absorbed by the heat-exchanger 4a so that the water can be cooled to temp. range from 0 deg.C to immediately before the solidification point. This cooled water is sprayed from a nozzle 8b to the surface to be processed at a supersonic speed, while part of the sprayed water is permitted to freeze momentarily under the atmospheric pressure without requiring drop of the stream speed, and thus the sprayed water with crushed ice bits form a mixture slurry to run against the surface, so that even fast buildup on the surface such as black rust can be removed nearly perfectly and also that cutting of different types of material be performed efficiently. |
