PURPOSE:To enable to start an SM type AC servo motor with a simple structure by controlling an armature current by a stepwise start signal until a reference position signal is generated. CONSTITUTION:While the initial index signal Z is generated, i.e., while a rotor rotates one revolution, lower significant address signals A8-A1 are all ''0'' in a memory MEM, and more significant address signals A11-A9 are inputted to the address signals of position signals UP, NP, WP. Accrodingly, when the start signal waveform which vary over the stepwisely positive and negative polarities are stored in the address of A1=UP, A10=VP, A9=WP, A8-A1=0, the stepwise start signal waveform is read out from the memory MEM until the initial index signal Z is outputted. Thus, a servo motor can be started without using a coding circuit by using the stepwise start signal waveform as U-phase start signal U. |
