PURPOSE:To divide an inputted pulse with a prescribed interval into a desired equal dividing number by calculating a data to divide equally the period between pulse signals of a prescribed interval and storing the data in a storage section. CONSTITUTION:A pulse signal of a prescribed interval is inputted to an input terminal 1. An n-adic counter circuit section 5b counts a clock signal between pulse signals and outputs the count. An arithmetic processing section 7 applies arithmetic processing dividing pulse signals by 20 equally based on the inputted count and the data is stored in a storage section 8. When a signal of H level is inputted to an input terminal 3, the pulse signal of a prescribed interval inputted to the terminal 1 is inputted to a 20 equal division pulse generating section 9 via an AND circuit 10. The generating section 9 reads the data from the storage section 8 and outputs 19 pulses at the same period.
