PURPOSE:To reduce man-hours of parts control and a space for a device by a method wherein the cathode of an LED device and the output terminal of a driving device are connected and contained in a container which has a light transmitting plastic outer cover as a unified device. CONSTITUTION:The cathode of an LED device 1 and the collector of a TR device 2 are connected to a metallic stem 4. A terminal 8 and the anode of the LEd 1 and also terminals 5 and 6 and the emitter and base of the TR 2 are connected by bonding wires 3. The metallic stem 4 is covered by a light transmitting plastic outer cover 9. Further, a terminal 7 for checking the device characteristics is connected to the stem 4. Thus, the most generally employed parts of the circuit driving the LED 1 are contained in one container so that the number of the parts, man-hours of parts control and a space for device assembling can be reduced. |
