PURPOSE:To optionally set up the press contact angle of a pinch roller at the traveling of a magnetic tape by turnably fitting a driving lever to a supporting shaft implanted on a base, engaging one end of the driving lever to a driving means to approach a pinch roller to a capstan and turnably fitting a pinch roller arm pivoting rotatably the pinch roller to a pressing lever. CONSTITUTION:When the driving lever 4 is moved in the arrow D direction, the driving lever 7 is turned around a turning supporting shaft 6 in the arrow A direction, the front end part 7a of the driving lever 7 presses the pinch supporting shaft 11 implanted on a pinch arm 8 and the pinch roller 2 is abutted upon the capstan 1 under the state that the capstan 1 holds the magnetic tape 13. When the driving lever 4 is moved in the arrow D direction furthermore, a pressing spring 5 hooked between one end of the pressing lever 7 and the driving lever 4 is extended and the pinch roller 2 is pressed by the spring force under the state that the capstan 1 holds the magnetic tape 13.
