SIGNAL PROCESSING METHOD FOR CONTROLLED OPERATION OF SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT

PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of a controlled operation by executing such control as to statistically process the data on the quality of treated water, to determine a wet value for detecting an abnormal value from the frequency distribution thereof and to change the measured value when the abnormal value is detected. CONSTITUTION:The data on the quality of the treated water measured in the past is statistically processed and the set value for detecting the abnormal value is determined from the frequency distribution based on such statistical result. The component of the actually measured value which is deviated from the previously measured value is compared with the previously set value and the abnormal value is detected from the result of such comparison. The control to change the above-mentioned measured value is made when the abnormal value is detected. As a result, the checking of the data and the correction thereof are executed in the stage of automatically measuring the quality of the treated water in a sewage treatment. The accuracy of the controlled operation is improved.
