PURPOSE:To improve a printing quality by the title assembly and to enable to print at a high speed by a method wherein the printing dots of the light- emitting diode assembly having the plural printing dots, which are aligned at the prescribed intervals and consist of a luminous region, are formed slender in the direction to intersect to the alignment direction thereof. CONSTITUTION:Printing dots 2 consisting of the luminous region, which is selectively diffused on a semiconductor 1 having GaAsP epitaxial layer, are aligned in one row at the prescribed intervals. Electrodes 3, which are ohmic- contacted to the luminous regions of the printing dots, are made to extendedly roll alternatively in the direction to orthogonally intersect roughly to the alignment direction of the printing dots 2 and the formed in such a way that such wiring means as fine wires for wire bonding can be connected to the electrodes 3. As the printing dots 2 are formed slender in the direction to orthogonally intersect to the alignment direction thereof, the width of each printing can be drawn with wide lines because of the configuration of the printing dots 2 even when the luminous intensity drops at the time of simultaneous lighting. |
