PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of treating work for extra-banking concrete by a method in which a mesh member is buried in extra-banking portion, and when concrete begins to harden, the mesh member is hung up to remove the extra-banking concrete portion with the mesh member. CONSTITUTION:A tremie tube 25 is erected in a casing 21, and concrete A is placed while pulling up the tube 25 and packed to a given level. A mesh cage 4 is set in the casing 21 and buried to a given depth into the concrete A in a fluid state. At a time when the concrete A begins to harden, the cage 4 is hung up to remove the upper part of the concrete A placed with the cage 4. The needs for chipping operation can thus be eliminated, and the efficiency of operations can be greatly raised to reduce the cost of the operations.
