The invention relates to medical equipment allowing cleaning and drying of a patient who cannot perform his bowel-emptying movements himself, it also allows the application of hyperthermia nullifying its harmful effects such as dehydration. The device comprises a pair of impermeable pants 1 on which three flexible pipes 3 are fixed, one of them connected to apparatuses conveying fluids necessary for cleaning and drying, the second passing the fluids to the tube 6 for the liquid waste. Amongst the most important applications of the device, mention may be made of the application of cleaning care to eliminate, without direct manual action, the faeces of patients, the application of hypothermia and hyperthermia, allowing the temperature of the human body thus to be controlled without mortal danger, combatting cancer of the colon by hyperthermia. <IMAGE>
