摘要 PURPOSE:To perform AF control accurately by increasing or decreasing the representative value of mixed light of auxiliary light and ambient natural light and a correcting value corresponding to spectral characteristics of a focusing state detection optical system or using a value selected among plural values. CONSTITUTION:Object light passed through the lens system of an interchangeable lens LZ is passed through the translucent part in the center of the reflecting mirror 108 of a camera body BD and photodetected by a CCD image sensor FLM. An AF controller 113 calculates the quantity and direction of defocusing from an infocus position on the basis of the signal from the sensor FLM. An auxiliary light system is incorporated in a flash device FL, which is provided with a tube 40 for flash lighting and an auxiliary light source LED 48 which emits the auxiliary light for focusing detection. A controller 113 corrects the quantity of correction of the representative wavelength of the mixed light of the auxiliary light from the device FL and ambient natural light and the quantity of shifting in focusing position corresponding to spectral characteristics of the focusing state detection optical system according to their combination. Consequently, accurate AF control is performed.
