PURPOSE:To record properly the contents of speech by providing a voice recognition circuit converting speech contents into digital data and a printer printing the output of each voice recognition circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a call is placed through a receiver 1, a user's voice is converted into digital data by the voice recognition circuit 3, and accumulated in a buffer 5. An opposite party's voice is converted into digital data by the voice recognition circuit 2, and accumulated in a buffer 4. The data accumulated in such a way is read out by a control circuit 7 and printed out by the printer 8. Upon the completion of the call, data on date and time is supplied to the printer 8 from a timepiece 6, and is printed out. If the time is printed at starting and terminating a call, a speaking time can be obtained.
