PURPOSE:To produce a banking material which is excellent in both initial strength and long-term strength and uniform in quality, by adding an appropriate amt. of water to a water-hardenable, grain size-controlled slug, sufficiently agitating, adding a predetermined amt. of cement, and further agitating. CONSTITUTION:The water-hardenable, grain size-controlled slug (aggregate) fed into a hopper 1 is fed through a quarrying conveyor belt 2 thereunder and a supply conveyor belt 3. At that time, a constant amt. quarrying gate 4 is employed to permit quarrying of a constant amt. in a continuous manner. Then the slug is fed into a continuous mixer 5, and water is sprayed thereover through a water supply nozzle 70 so as to cause the slug to have the optimum water content of 9-10%. The water-contg. aggregate is sufficiently agitated by the use of a stirring screw 6 until the overall surface of the aggregate is wetted with the water. Then, cement is added from a hopper 8 in an outer wt. percentage of 3-10%. The mixture is further sufficiently agitated, and continuously discharged from an outlet 10 at an end of the continuous mixer 5. The mixture is put on a dump truck or shovel car, and carried to a place of works for use.
