PURPOSE:To obtain a silver halide color photographic sensitive material having superior raw stock preservability and superior reciprocity law characteristics by using a silver halide emulsion contg. silver chlorobromide or silver chloroiodobromide sensitized spectrally with at least one kind of specified monomethinecyanine dye. CONSTITUTION:This silver halide color photographic sensitive material has one or more silver halide emulsion layers and the silver halide emulsion of at least one of the layers contains silver chlorobromide or silver chloroiodobromide contg. <=1mol% silver iodide and <=50mol% silver chloride and sensitized spectrally with at least one kind of monomethinecyanine dye represented by formula I. In the formula, each of Z<1> and Z<2> is O or S, each of R<1>-R<4> is H, halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, aryl or hydroxy, each of R<5> and R<6> is optionally substituted alkyl, X<-> is an anion and n=0 or 1. |
