A vibration damper for an engine suspension system or the like comprises two housing parts (1, 2), a flexible component (3) arranged between them, and a dividing wall (12). The dividing wall (12) divides a closed chamber (11) into two fluid chambers (13, 14), has a restricted passage (15) and contains an auxiliary fluid chamber (21) which is filled with a fluid. Arranged between each fluid chamber (13, 14) and the auxiliary fluid chamber (21) is a flexible diaphragm (17 and 18 respectively). <IMAGE>
