PURPOSE:To aim at the promotion of lightweightiness in a tire and improvement in its durability, by forming each cord of a carcass cord ply consisting of plural layers with a specified aromatic polyamide fiber, and setting elongation of the fiber so as to satisfy a specified relational expression. CONSTITUTION:This pneumatic tire for heavy-duty vehicle use is provided with a carcass cord ply (carcass) 2 of plural layers made up of disposing a cord at angles ranging from 90-75 deg. to the circumferential direction. And, each cord to be used for this carcass 2 is formed from an aromatic polyamide fiber having more than 80mol of a repetitive unit shown in an expression I. And, when the carcass 2 is set to a ply, 2 plies ... and n plies from the inner liner side, elongation En% at the time of 2.2g/d of the said fiber constituting each ply is set so as to satisfy an expression II. |
