An adjustable movement stop for a lifting arm of a window lifter, comprising a stop part which can be fixed in different rotary positions to a carrier by means of a cap screw, with a stop face which is eccentric relative to the axis of rotation of the stop part and against which butts a counterstop face of the lifting arm, is designed with a shaped-out portion for the engagement of a turning tool at the end of the cap screw located opposite the screw cap, in order to simplify the adjustment.
