An object clamping-in device (10) for a microtome is described, having a baseplate (12), a stationary clamping jaw (14) and a moving clamping jaw (16). The moving clamping jaw (16) can be coarsely preset relative to the stationary clamping jaw (14) along a guide (18), by means of an actuating drive (20). A quick-action clamping lever (134) is provided for finally clamping an object (132) in between the two clamping jaws (14, 16). The quick-action clamping lever (134) acts on the moving clamping jaw (16) via a spring element (142) for finally pressing the two clamping jaws (14, 16) in a sprung manner against the clamped-in object (132). <IMAGE>
