<p>PURPOSE:To form surely an image in the prescribed position of a form by stopping the driving of a timing roll to stop the form temporarily when the front end of the form is detected by a detecting sensor provided in the exit side of the timing roll. CONSTITUTION:When a form feeding roll 4 is driven, the form is fed out from a form supply cassette 5 and is carried toward a timing roll 1 by a carrying roll 3. When a sensor (I) 6 detects the front end of the form, a timer 103 is reset, and this state is held until a preliminarily determined certain time T1 elapses. After the time T1, the carrying roll 3 is stopped. At this time, skew of the form is corrected and the form is brought into contact with the timing roll. Next, the timer 103 is reset to start rotation of rolls 1 and 3. When a sensor (II) 2 detects the front end of the form, rotation of the roll 3 is stopped. If the form does not reach a sensor 6 a prescribed time after the operation of rolls 3 and 4, jam is discriminated to perform the error processing.</p> |
