PURPOSE:To eliminate the influence of the angle of rest of a developer with simple constitution by fixing one end of a sheet-shaped elastic member in a developer vessel and bringing the other end into contact with a rotating brush and oscillating the developer with the restoring force of the elastic member and the rotating force of the rotating brush. CONSTITUTION:An aperture 11a is formed in one end of a developer vessel 11 where the developer is stored in a developing device, and an endless developer carrier 12 which holds and carries the developer is supported freely rotatably in the aperture 11a of the vessel 11. A rotating brush 13 is supported freely rotatably in a developer storage part of the vessel 11 by the carrier 12, and fibrous fur 13b is formed on the outside peripheral part of the brush 13. One end of a sheet-shaped elastic member 16 is supported in the vessel 11 and the other end is brought into contact with the brush 13. The developer is oscillated by the restoring force of the elastic member 16 and the rotating force of the brush 13 to eliminate the influence of the angle of rest of the developer with the simple constitution. |
