PURPOSE:To obtain a steamer, having an inner wall surface of a cover of a specific almost inverted V-shaped structure, capable of flowing down water condensed in any part of the inner wall surface along the wall surface without dripping on a conveyor or a food thereon. CONSTITUTION:A steamer 32 is constituted of a frame 34, steaming chamber 36, steam inlet pipe 39 and food transferring conveyor 40 and a cover 30 is of almost inverted V-shaped cross section. The inner wall surface 42 intersects at the central top 44 and two flat surfaces 46 and 48 extend to both sides. The tilting angle is about >=25 deg., preferably about >=23 deg.. Water condensed on the surfaces 46 and 48 flows down along the surfaces 46 and 48 without dripping. |
