Gamma-pyrone phosphoric ester derivs. of formula (I) are prepd. by reacting 3-hydroxy-gamma-pyrone derivs. With phoric halogenide of formula XP(=Y)(A)B. R1is H, lower alkyl, lower alkenyl, cycloalkyl or phenyl; R2 is H or halo substd. (or unsubstd.)-lower alkyl; A is - SR3 or -NR4R5; B=OR6; R3 is alkyl or phenyl; R4 is H or lower alkyl; R5 is lower alkyl or benzyl; R6 is alkyl or phenyl; Y is O or S. (I) are useful as insecticide or miticide.
