PURPOSE:To provide the titled ink which facilitates the identification of color changes without detriment to the performance of an oxygen indicator, by incorporating a specified alkaline earth metal compd. CONSTITUTION:An alkaline earth metal hydroxide (e.g. magnesium hydroxide) which is water-insoluble end stable in the air, is used. 40pts.wt. binder resin (A) (pref. a resin whose film of 30mu in thickness has an oxygen transmission rate of 1,000cm<3>/m<3>/24hr such as cellulose acetate propionate or urethane resin), 30pts.wt. solvent (B) and 30pts.wt. mixture (C) of a white pigment and the above metal hydroxide [e.g. a mixture of titanium white and magnesium hydroxide (17:13)] are mixed together to obtain a priming ink for an oxygen indicator ink contg. an alkaline reducing agent type leuco forming dye. |
