PURPOSE:To compensate a green droop at a conerner part of a raster, by connecting the auxiliary coil connected to a horizontal deflecting coil in a deflecting yoke to a saturable reactor in parallel, and controlling it with a rectified vertical deflecting current CONSTITUTION:A deflecting yoke of an in-line type color picture tube is formed as including an auxiliary coil 1 which rolls a coil 3 on an E-type core 2 and makes is generate a hexamagnetic field. And, the coil 3 is connected to horizontal windings 81 and 82 of saturable reactors 51 and 52 in parallel, and also connected to a parallel circuit of horizontal deflecting coils 61 and 62 in series. In addition, a vertical winding 7 of these saturable reactors 51 and 52 is connected to one vertical deflecting coil via a rectifier 11. And, in accordance with an increase in a vertical current, inductance in these saturable reactors 51 and 52 is decreased, whereby vertical current flowing in the coil 3 is decreased. Therefore, a green droop is kept back and a convergence characteristic is improvable.
