摘要 PURPOSE:To enable a correct engine control to be continually performed, by calculating an intake air quantity to be obtained on the basis of an engine speed, cylinder volume, intake passage capacity in the downstream of a throttle valve and compression ratio in addition to an output signal of an intake air quantity detecting means. CONSTITUTION:The captioned device, in which an injector 8 provided in an intake manifold is controlled by an ECU90, obtains a fuel injection quantity in the ECU90 by an operative condition detecting means of a crank angle sensor 10 and an air flow sensor 2 or the like. Here the ECU90, first sampling an intake air quantity by an engine speed, calculates a mean air quantity. Next the device, using a passage capacity in the downstream of a throttle valve, compression ratio, cylinder stroke volume, mean air quantity and an engine speed, obtains an actual intake air quantity in this time as a parameter, showing an engine load, on the basis of a predetermined related expression as shown by an actual intake air quantity in the preceding time, and the parameter is utilized for calculating the fuel injection quantity.
