METHOD FOR PRESERVATION UNDER PRESSURE AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To enable the preservation of a water-containing material in high quality suppressing the hardening of the surface, by controlling the pressure in a pressurized storage chamber according to the difference between the amount of exhausted air and that of sucked air until the pressure in the chamber becomes constant and storing a water-containing material under a definite pressure. CONSTITUTION:The pressure in a pressurized chamber constructed of a heat- insulation material and pressure-resistant material is controlled by the difference between the amount of sucked air and that of exhausted air until the air pressure in the chamber becomes constant. A water-containing material is stored in the chamber under a constant pressure. At the same time, the temperature in the chamber is maintained to the optimum level by an air-conditioner according to the kind of the water-containing material to be stored. The surface hardening of the material can be prevented and the water-containing material can be stored in state of high quality.
