Improvements to rotary helical floats for nautical craft and the like such as that described in main patent application no. 84 03968 by the same applicant. The present invention relates to improvements to rotary helical floats. The rotary helical float with the improvements according to the present addition to main patent application no. 84 03968 is basically characterised in that in the rear part 4 the trailing face 5 of the fissure or fissures 1 has a cutout in a plane passing through the axis of the cylinder and the penetrating face 6 extends helically in the extension of the penetrating face 6 of the middle part 3 of the float. <IMAGE>
