PURPOSE:To prevent the waste of fuel and engine noise by installing a pressure sensor for detecting the coolant pressure in the high pressure line of a cooler cycle and an engine control means for increasing the idling speed of an engine. CONSTITUTION:A pressure sensor 20 for detecting the coolant pressure is installed at a proper position in the high pressure line connecting a compressor 10, condenser 12, liquid tank 14, and an expansion valve 16. The analogue output of the pressure sensor 20 is converted to the digital signal in an A/D converter 22, and formed as the control input of an engine control circuit 24. The control circuit 24 increases the idling speed of an engine when the pressure value detected by the pressure sensor 20 is over a prescribed value. Thus, the waste of fuel and increase of the engine noise can be prevented.
