PURPOSE:To allow a user at the reception side to grasp a reason why information is not sent normally by providing a control means outputting information representing the end of communication to an output means as a communication enable time elapses when a detection means detects the vicinity of the end of communication. CONSTITUTION:When the remaining the possible for communication is less, if the reception is continued as it is, a call connection is restored suddenly and the user of a reception station RX cannot grasp the state accurately. In order to avoid the situation above, the timer circuit 130 of the reception station RX counts the communication elapsed time and when the communication enable time limit comes, the elapse of the communication enable time is informed to a system control section 136. Further, the circuit 130 connects the switch SW2 of a coder/decoder 108 to a terminal C so as to operate a character generating circuit 126 and an output data representing the reason of the transmission stop is generated as a character pattern data through a picture conversion section 124. Then it is sent to a recording section 122 and recorded on recording paper as visible information such as a character.
