The invention relates to a method of producing structural objects guided rectilinearly in a closed profile, in particular tunnel-like structures, with the use of tube elements, in which method a string of tube elements is created from tube elements which, moving in longitudinal rhythm, perform a caterpillar-like tensioned creeping movement, which string of tube elements advances further in the soil and constantly increases in length with the advance of construction, and this tube string moving forwards forms the tunnel walling, from the inner volume of which the soil is conveyed away. Furthermore, the subject-matter of the invention is also the arrangement which serves to carry out the method according to the invention. The essence of the invention consists in the fact that the tube elements (E1, ...) are pressed forwards into the soil by the pulsating internal pressure (p1, p2, p3) periodically alternating in the elastic hose spirals (T1, ...) inserted between them. The arrangement according to the invention has hose spirals (T1, ...) which can be inserted between the adjacent tube elements (E1, ...); furthermore feed lines (N1, ...) starting from a pressure-medium source and run in the space A defined by the string of tube elements; and also branch lines (t1, ...) connecting the feed lines to the hose spirals, and furthermore, in order to put the hose spirals under pressure or if need be to even reduce the pressure in them to zero, opening and ... serving this purpose ...
