摘要 |
PURPOSE:To obtain a hydrocarbon composed mainly of especially gasoline fraction, in high yield and selectivity, by contacting a mixed gas containing hydrogen and carbon monoxide with a catalyst composition composed of ruthenium, oxide of niobium or tantalum and crystalline zeolite. CONSTITUTION:A catalyst composition is produced by mixing (A) a carbon monoxide reduction catalyst produced by attaching a ruthenium compound (e.g. ruthenium chloride) to niobium or tantalum oxide [preferably composed of 0.1-10(wt.)% ruthenium and 4-99.95% niobium or tantalum oxide] and (B) a crystalline zeolite catalyst (preferably having a pore diameter of 5-9Angstrom ). The amount of the component A is 30-80% of A+B. The objective hydrocarbon can be produced by contacting said catalyst composition with a mixed gas containing hydrogen and carbon monoxide. EFFECT:A hydrocarbon composed mainly of a gasoline fraction, having high octane value and aromatic hydrocarbon content and suitable as automotive fuel. |
