In a loudspeaker, a driving arrangement converts an electrical input signal into corresponding mechanical excursions; a frame carries the driving arrangement centrally between a front part and a rear part of the frame; a diaphragm is connected to the driving arrangement in order to convert the mechanical excursions into acoustic energy; a spider for guiding the diaphragm is connected on its circumference to the rear of the frame and the driving arrangement is arranged between the diaphragm and the front surface. <IMAGE>
