PURPOSE:To reproduce a bit of latest information at a high speed with simple constitution by controlling a data transfer from an information storage area to a storage means with a data transfer means reacting according to a control signal and the repeated transfer of a reproducing data to the information storage area. CONSTITUTION:A data transfer means 13 and a storage means 14 are controlled with an information recording and reproducing control means 11, and a prescribed capacity of content at an information storage area 12 is recorded in order at a postscript type recording medium 16. In a reproducing time, the content recorded at the medium 16 is reproduced in order, and is transferred to the storage area 12 through a reproducing means 15 and the means 13. And when the storing size of the storage area 12 is filled, a bit of next reproducing information of the same size is transferred by the control of the means 13, and the storage means 12 is updated from its forefront address. A repeated updating is continued until an error data from the means 15 is impressed on the means 11 corresponding to an unrecorded area at the medium 16, and the bit of latest information can be reproduced with simple constitution only by a pair of information recording and reproducing control means, and the storing size is stored at the prescribed information storage area.
